To date, Native Renewables has helped install several off-grid solar PV systems ranging from 750 W to 7 kW capacity, outreached to hundreds of solar enthusiasts, and is addressing energy access challenges by providing solar options to Native communities.
As of August 14th, we have delivered over 500 cellphone chargers, over 1600 camp lights, and over 200 flashlight/chargers to 9 relief groups and 2 tribal entities working in 4 tribal communities. We were able to make kits of 3 products from Goal Zero, Mpowerd, Makers4Good, and Voltaic.
Solar Workforce Training
Our first workforce training held in Hardrock, AZ. Ten amazing Navajo participants spent 7 weeks in the classroom and doing hands on learning. Shout out to the chapter and To Nizhoni Ani for partnering with us, and the many speakers that spoke at our training.
Off-Grid Install on Navajo
This is one of the 2.1 kW systems we installed for a family on the Navajo reservation. The system is able to power an energy star rated refrigerator, lights, and small electronics.
