Each system is approximately 2.3 kilowatts (kW) and can provide power for an energy efficient (Energy Star rated) refrigerator, lights, charging for phones and laptops, and an energy efficient television (TV). To participate in the program:

• For the safety of our team:
  • You will be asked to keep your animals away from the install site when our team is present. This may mean making sure your dogs are in a fence or secured.
  • You may be asked about road conditions. If weather creates a safety hazard, we may reschedule.
• You understand that the PV system will meet some of your basic needs but will not be enough to power larger appliances (ex. washer, dryer).
  • We will ask additional information about your energy usage. A history of energy usage and consumption is needed to identify if the system will meet your needs.
• We may ask about your energy expenses. An estimate of electricity needs and costs of fuels will help determine potential cost savings.
• You may be asked to prepare the home site prior to the installation visit.
  • For example, you may be asked to make sure furniture is moved away from the walls, or help move obstacles outside to make sure we can put solar in a good location.
• Installs are subject to available funding.
